As we make way for another power-packed month of
celebrations and events, which will also kick off the festive season, let’s
take a look at how our August went.
The picnic was the highlight for this month,
where a record 200 plates of dal baati churma were consumed. The mehendi waalis
were in high demand and made the day extra special for the ladies. The kids
also had a blast as activities like a magic show, puppet show, etc were
specially organised for them. All in all, it was the perfect day for families
to have fun together. I’d like to acknowledge the tremendous contribution of
Ranoo Srivastava and Sanjay Pabuwal in
making this a huge success.
The Independence Day event also saw a huge
turnout which just goes on to show that the patriotic spirit of our members is
mentioned in the last circular, the trial run for smart cards was carried out
successfully last month. We’ll now move on to using it regularly and will also
be used as a debit card for all purposes in the club so the transactions can
become cashless. I would like to appreciate the efforts put in by Shri Gurmukh
Singh to make this Smart Card operative and in case of any queries regarding
this, please get in touch with Shri Gurmukh Singh (Mobile No.98290-7333).
Even after repeated requests for paying
outstanding bills timely, it has been noticed that certain members are still
not paying them. Therefore, the Management Committee, in its meeting held on
13.08.2018, has decided that the last date of payment of monthly bills is the
last date of the month in which the bill has been issued. Thereafter, if the
outstanding dues of any member are more than Rs.10,000/- their credit facility
will be stopped. And now, on to September.
