01-12-2025 Jaipur Club Ltd

Respected Members,

I hope you are having wonderful December - a month filled with anticipation, reflection, and celebration. As we look back on the year gone by and prepare to welcome a new one with renewed hope. I trust you are taking time connect with loved ones, cherish memories, and set meaningful intentions for 2026.

As we reflect on the year, I would also like to share a few important updated regarding the Club's operations. The total fixed expenditure required to run the Club amounts to Rs. 6.15 crore annually. This includes salaries, bonuses, staff uniforms, electricity bills, insurance, AMC, and liquor, Nagar Nigam and Railway land licence fees. To sustain our regular functioning, the Club must earn at least Rs. 1.69 lakh per day. This figures does not include the cost of kitchen raw materials, liquor purchase, building repairs and maintenance, functions, and other operational needs and it substantially increase each year due to annual increments that we provide to our staff.

In this context, I wish to express my sincere appreciation to members who have been prompt in clearing their dues. When the current Management Committee assumed office on 28th July, 2025, the members' outstanding dues amounted to Rs. 65,02,059/-. Understanding the gravity of the situation, the Honorary Secretary and Treasurer worked hard over the past few months and through their persistent communication, reminders, and dialogue, the outstanding amout was reduced to Rs. 42,16,723/- as of 30th November, 2025.

While this reduction of nearly Rs. 23 lakh is a testament to the positive response from man members and the Committee's efforts; the reality remains that Rs. 42 lakh is still a formidable and unsustainable sum. This staggering figure affects our Club's operational stability, its ability to maintain facilities, plan enhancements, and deliver the quality of service your rightfully expect.

Let us be clear: a club of our stature cannot run on promises or delayed payments. When payment of dues is delayed, the entire operational ecosystem is strained, resulting in an improper financial state and inability of the Club to function smoothly.

It is concerning that despite regular reminders by the Club's account staff, some members still do not clear their bills on time. ONe such member, with outstanding dues of Rs. 98,844/-, not only delayed payments but also questioned the sanctity of the Club's By-laws/Rules. He has been regular defaulter for years, and although he eventually cleared his dues after repeated follow-ups, he also threatened legal action against the Management Committee. I leave it to the collective wisdom of our members to reflect on whether such behaviour is in the Club's best interest, and how the Club can function under such avoidable strain.

Therefore, my humble request to all members is to kindly ensure timely payment of bills so that the Club's financial health remains stable and its services continue uninterrupted.

Before I conclude, I am delighted to share that Jaipur Club, being a sports club, co-hosted the Interclub Sports Carnival (ICSC 2025) with Golf Club and Jai Club. The event saw around 600 participant from across India and was widely appreciated by all players.

Once again, I wish you a wonderful December and a joyful transition into the New Year.
